About Nyttu Chongo

Nyttu Chongo is a Global Music Initiative Artist in Residence at MacPhail Center for Music in 2022. He is also a Cedar Cultural Center Cedar Commission Fellow for 2021-22, creating a new, original body of work.

Nyttu Chongo was a 2020 Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Initiative grantee, and with funding received he produced his first album titled Libandzuwa: The Power of the Sun.
